prismTask is built by LaClair Technologies. Task data often reveals your work, your obligations, and your intent — we treat it accordingly.

What we collect

Nothing. prismTask does not include analytics SDKs, advertising SDKs, crash reporters, or any third-party tracking.

Where your tasks live

• On your device — task records, completion state, and due dates live locally, encrypted at rest by iOS/macOS.
• In your iCloud — if iCloud sync is on, Apple replicates your data across your own devices. LaClair Technologies never sees it.

Suite integration

If you also use other Prism apps, prismTask shares lightweight references — like “this task is about person X” — via an on-device app group and your iCloud container. Task bodies stay with prismTask.

Notifications and reminders

Local notifications are scheduled by iOS on your device. prismTask does not run a push server and does not send your task content to any LaClair Technologies system.

What we do not do

• No analytics. No telemetry. No “anonymous” usage pings.
• No advertising. No data sales. No data brokers.
• No cloud processing of task contents — no AI summarization, no enrichment, nothing.

Children's privacy

prismTask is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes in a meaningful way, we will update the “Last updated” date and post a note on the product website before the change takes effect.
